I had the privilege of hanging out with Dan from Parent Pacifier recently and we got to talking about how there is a lot of judgment from other parents regarding use of the Baby Brezza Formula Pro and the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced. This product is basically a Keurig for baby formula. If you’re interested in learning more about this thing, click here.

Dan and I have quite a bit of experience using the Baby Brezza Formula Pro. I have mostly used the original and Dan has mostly used the Advanced. He did a comparison review of the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Original vs. Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced, which you can watch by clicking here.

In that review, Dan invited his friends who have twin boys to help with the review from the perspective of very busy parents. Not only did they have twin boys, but they had a total of 4 little boys 4 years of age and younger. Yep, ALL in diapers! This set of parents were extremely dependent on the Baby Brezza Formula Pro. They compared the Advanced to the Original to see the differences. During the review, they found that the Advanced model out-performed the Original. There were a few similar features, but also a few distinct features. While both keep the water at a stable warm (not hot temperatures), the Advanced model has 3 different temperature settings just depending on what your baby needs. You can also dispense just water even if you have baby formula in the unit. Also, it is approximately 13 seconds faster and much quieter than the Original model.

The Baby Brezza Formula Pro and Formula Pro Advanced have been our favorite formula dispenser products since they were released. We often get comments about how these products are for Lazy Parents and that they could easily make a warm bottle without this product.

There are people who criticize other parents for using baby formula. While we agree that naturally feeding your baby makes sense and is the best way, not every mom can actually do it. Some moms cannot keep up with the food intake that is necessary, while Dan explains how other moms just may not produce enough milk. We should not be so judgmental of these moms who obviously want the best for their kid, we should encourage them.

Some people also judge other parents for buying “expensive” contraptions such as the Baby Brezza Formula Pro, but they often do not know the whole story. My wife was extremely sick when Maddie was born; the doctors just equated it to post partum and post pregnancy. We both knew something else was wrong with her, but we didn't have any proof. While I had to work and my wife stayed home, the Baby Brezza Formula Pro was a saving grace for her. My wife literally could barely keep food down. She was finally able to see a specialist and the specialist discovered that she had apparently developed gallstones during her pregnancy. Maddie was born in June and my wife had surgery in October to have her gallbladder removed. If it wasn’t for the Formula Pro, it would have been that much more difficult for her.

Dan reminds us that most people have busy lives and during those first several months, and parenting is extremely exhausting. Some people may not remember how exhausting and forget how difficult it was during this time. Others may not have been there yet and do not realize how tiring it is having to be wake up every 2 hours or so during the middle of the night. Not only that, but then some parents do all this and then have to get up, go to work, run a business or whatever it is they need to do in order to sustain life.

So, before you judge parents and call them lazy for buying and using the Baby Brezza Formula Pro or the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced, think about where you are right now or what it was like during those first few months when you had your baby.
